Who Are Barkers of Harrogate?
We are a family business that has been in the specialist tobacco trade for over 30 years. We started with a specialist tobacco shop in the centre of Harrogate. Our wholesale business was started some 25 years ago and has been growing since its formation. We supply tobacconists throughout the country, the majority of which are also successful independent family businesses. Our growth has been made possible by a close association with every specialist manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor, meaning we can supply our customers with a comprehensive and competitive, consolidated order of goods covering the whole spectrum of tobacconist items. Our stock list includes 100’s of lesser known and difficult-to-obtain items.
Along the way, we have been proud supporters and members of AITS, Association of Independent Tobacco Specialists and would suggest that all tobacconists consider enquiring about membership.
Our philosophy is that the customer comes first and will always attempt to use our experience to aid and assist customers in whatever way possible, especially with prompt and accurate delivery of goods.
